Connacht Hospitality Group’s portfolio spans hotels, bars, leisure and golf across Galway. The Connacht Hotel celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, while HYDE Hotel brings a stylish edge to the heart of Galway City and The Residence offers boutique charm on Quay Street. The group’s three licensed premises each have their own character: the award-winning An Púcán on Forster Street, M. Fitzgerald’s Bar in the Latin Quarter, and the chic HYDE Bar, also on Forster Street. Beyond hospitality, the group runs Active 24 Fitness & Leisure, a 24-hour gym and leisure centre, and Golf at The Hawthorn, our championship golf course. In 2026, the portfolio grew further with the addition of The Hawthorn by Galway Bay, Ireland’s newest luxury hotel.
