A pioneer of the modern craft beer movement, famous for its innovation and quality, Galway Hooker has developed a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading breweries.
Galway Hooker is Ireland’s third-oldest independent brewery and the oldest existing brewery in Connacht. In 2014 the business expanded into a new state-of-the-art facility in Oranmore, making it one of Ireland’s largest and best-equipped craft breweries.
The Core Range
The Original Irish Pale Ale: A fresh and zingy Pale Ale with a floral aroma. The biscuity malt flavours and citrus hops develop into a crisp dry finish. Perfect with barbecued meats, seafood and mature farmhouse cheeses.
60 Knots IPA: Brewed in the traditional style of an India Pale Ale, this beer is packed full of citrus and tropical fruit flavours. Well suited to seafood, cured meats or dessert dishes.
Organic Pilsner: A smooth Pilsner crafted from organic ingredients, and inspired by our commitment to sustainability and artisan methods.
Honey Beer: This unique beer is a collaboration between our brewery and locally based Leahy Beekeeping to bring you a special taste of the West of Ireland. It is a bronze-coloured ale, providing earthy, woody and toffee flavours from the raw honey, complimented with grassy and floral notes from the hops.
