The Connacht Hospitality Group are proudly partnering with Croí as their charity of the year for 2023. Croí do phenomenal work raising awareness about heart health, and the Group are delighted to help them in their mission. The partnership will see many of our properties offer a delicious salad that will include a €1 donation from every sale towards the charity.


The Connacht Hotel have partnered with Galway Hospice and we are planning to raise some €10,000 throughout 2023. To help reach this goal, you may have seen that we’re raffling away overnight stays for two people, with breakfast, for The Connacht Hotel – and all anyone has to do to enter the draw is donate a minimum of €2.


HYDE are raffling away monthly stays for two people, with breakfast, for HYDE Hotel. To enter the draw, anyone can donate a minimum of €2 to be in with a chance of winning. This is all part of HYDE’s charity partnership for the year with Cancer Care West. So many people rely on this service every day so we are only too delighted to support them.


For 2023, Residence Hotel and 1520’s Charity of the Year is Jigsaw Galway. Supported by the national network of Jigsaw services, this amazing youth mental health support provides tailored community-based help for anyone aged 12-25 in Galway city and county. Residence Hotel and 1520 are delighted to play a part in supporting this invaluable service and are looking forward to leading lots of fundraising.


An Púcán is supporting the water-safety charity Claddagh Watch Patrol by encouraging the public to make donations. Claddagh Watch Patrol are a fantastic charity whose mission is to reduce the deaths caused on Galway’s waterways through a volunteer service. What’s more, Group staff will unselfishly take part in a Sunrise Swim in aid of the charity in July 2023.
